FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Here are some of the most commonly asked questions we've received. If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, please reach out and we will get back to you shortly.
WHERE CAN I GET YOUR ITEMS?
Pick-up is at 159 Highridge Road, New Rochelle. Please park on the street and text 917 847 8422. We will bring the order to your car. Delivery is available to New Rochelle, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Scarsdale or White Plains for an additional charge of $5 per order. We do not have the capacity to deliver to other areas.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS REALLY GLUTEN FREE?
Products are made using only gluten-free ingredients. While we're not a certified gluten-free kitchen, one of us has celiac disease and we produce all items on equipment solely dedicated to processing gluten-free products. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: We privately use the Caputo Fioreglut flour for baking. This flour is made using wheat starch and is safe for celiacs, but not for people with a wheat allergy. We do not use it in the products offered for sale, but there is a chance of cross-contamination as it is used in our kitchen.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS DAIRY FREE OR VEGAN?
Most of our products can be made dairy-free or vegan. Please contact us separately at doughforall@yahoo.com or by texting 917-847-8422 for more information.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO EAT YOUR ITEMS?
All items are baked fresh on the day of delivery. They can be heated at 350° F in either the oven or air fryer so that the layers develop fully. They can also be eaten at room temperature the same day or frozen for later.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?
The products are shelf-stable for about two days. However, to maximize their shelf life, we recommend storing them in the freezer immediately. The products can be frozen and thawed without it affecting their flavor or texture.
CAN I BUY YOUR PRODUCTS FROZEN?
No. Under New York State’s Home Processor Exemption, we are allowed only to sell fully baked products.
DO YOU SHIP?
No.
WHY ARE THE PRODUCTS NOT ALL THE SAME SIZE?
We make all the products by hand. As home bakers, we don’t have a professional dough sheeter or commercial oven. Gluten-free puff pastry is tricky (and sticky!!!) and very dependent on the environment, such as temperature and altitude. Once is is rolled out, we have to work very quickly, so the size of the products may vary. We will always prioritize taste over looks.
